merry x-mas eats!
christmas could not have been more perfect and mellow. the food came out delicious and the family and friends ate it up. littlefoodie got the best gift ever...a marble race track that he has not stopped playing since he ripped open the box...the best part is its totally fun for the parents too..whee! i've been meaning to hop in here and post pics and recipes but big foodiedaddy and i were hit with the holiday pukefest..10 hours of x-rated, toilet hugging wretching. lucky for us littlefoodie is that one weird kid that never gets sick and has some sort of x-men-ish ability to ward off germs.
so we are recovering and hoping to be back in the game for new years so i can make my famous timapno and creme brulee. for now i'll leave you with photos of our x-mas brunch spread...the recipes will have to come later since i am only working with half a mind today.
enjoy!
ginger doughnuts (the hit of the brunch)
overnight cofeecake
maple, mustard and rosemary sausages
ham, leek and three cheese quiche (best quiche recipe, hands down!)
sugared cranberries
roasted garlic broccoli and home fries
Labels: coffeecake, ginger doughnuts, marbles, quiche, roasted broccoli, sausages, sugared cranberries
